About Todd Gatza, Independent Broker
My family and I have lived a rural agricultural lifestyle for decades, loving and learning from God and His Creation. In the mountains of Colorado at 9k feet we established our homestead with goats and wild mustangs to train and rehome. I worked as a hat of all trades on the ranch and as an independent real estate broker for decades. Along with my family, I developed my real estate hat with its unique approach into the highest selling agent of rural properties for over a decade and a half in a two county area.
I grew up in the Texas Panhandle where my great grandparents migrated to from Missouri in a covered wagon before the Dust Bowl. For a fun fact, Charles Goodnight, pictured in the t.v. series Lonesome Dove, was my great uncle on my mothers side. After graduating high school I enlisted in the US Navy. Leaving the Navy as a disabled veteran with the GI Bill, I gained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Texas A&M University System. My wife and I met in Texas and moved to the mountains of Colorado for cool weather, trees, hunting, fishing, back packing, horse packing, and the beauty to start our family and our dream homestead.
We built our homestead out of rock and trees at 9k feet and loved it so much. As we have grown older, the weather and lack of grass for wild mustang rescuing with our daughters, pushed us east across the plains to Missouri. Additionally, the culture of Colorado has changed so much away from God, for our sakes and especially our daughters, we had to make it back to the Bible Belt.
